Inspired by Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, this porcelain Mabkhara, or incense burner, is adorned with flowers, vines and buds, all hand-lined in 22-karat gold for an utterly elegant finish reminiscent of the Mughal dynasty. The final touch is a gilded crescent moon. Once lit, plumes of bakhoor rise from the opening, creating a captivating dance. And, when not in use, it’s striking enough to stand alone as a sculpture.
